Off-Broadway’s Amas Musical Theatre has announced the 5th year of the Eric H. Weinberger Award for Emerging Librettists.
Submission are open now and will be accepted through Dec. 2 here.
The award is a juried cash and production grant to be given annually to support the early work and career of a deserving musical theatre librettist.
The winner will receive $2,000 to help pay cost-of-living expenses, as well as receive developmental assistance in the 2024 New Works Developmental Program, which will culminate in the work being rehearsed and performed in an Amas Lab production.
