  Broadway’s Manhattan Theatre Club has announced the initial productions in its 2025-26 season. Creative teams and casting TBA.

 

  Punch (Fall 2025), by James Graham, at Broadway’s Samual J. Friedman Theatre. A powerful account of a fatal act of random violence and a path toward understanding and forgiveness.

 

  Queens  (Fall 2025), by Martyna Majok.    A group of female immigrants find their paths crossing in a small apartment in Queens. The apartment might be small, but the play is a big tale that spans shifting decades and continents—and shifting ideas of identity and belonging.

 

  The Monsters: A sibling Love Story (Winter 2026), world premiere by Ngozi Anyanwu, at NY City Center Stage 1,    For a long time, LIL has been obsessed with fighting, and one fighter in particular: her older brother BIG, an aging but successful figure in the local Mixed Martial Arts circuit. But she’s been doing it all from afar… until one day when she decides to show up on his doorstep.

 

  The Balusters (Spring 2026 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.), world premiere by David Lindsay-Abaire, directed by Kenny Leon.  an epic drama about multiple generations of immigrant women living in an illegal basement apartment in Queens, as they strive to build new lives. The plot involves a young Ukrainian woman who arrives at the apartment seeking her long-lost mother, which forces the women to confront difficult decisions they’ve made to survive.
  Punch (Fall previews begin Sept. 9), by James Graham, directed by Adam Penford. A teenage boy’s journey to redemption after a mistake. 
 The Monsters (begins Jan. 23, 2026), world premiere by Ngozi Anyanwu Two siblings, LIL and BIG, reunite to confront their pasts.
The Balusters (Spring 2026),world premiere  by David Lindsay-Abaire.  The storyline follows the Vernon Point Neighborhood Association members who are usually passionate and opinionated, often disagreeing on minor issues. However, the true conflict arises when a newcomer suggests installing a stop sign, leading to a significant dispute within the community. 
   Queens (), by Martyna Majok. A reimagined version of Majok’s 2018 play ( the stories of two generations of immigrant women living in a basement apartment in Queens, and looks at the choices they’ve made regarding their security, dignity, and desires.)

   Songs of Cope: We Gotta Keep Movin’ will take place Mon. June 30 at NYC’s Library for the Performing Arts (111 Amsterdam Ave.) directed by Debra Walton, with music direction by Michael O. Mitchell, and choreography by Cori Barns.
  Matelyn Alicia, Saint Aubyn, Cori Barnes, Aeja Barrows, Jovan E’ Sean, Alexis Tidwell, Darryl Jovan Williams, and Virginia A. Woodruff.
 A unique chance to experience select songs from Don’t Bother Me, I Can’t Cope, honoring the genius of Micki Grant and celebrating the “Love Power” of art.  Micki Grant remains an unparalleled artist who captured the African American experience! In Songs of Cope, the Library for the Performing Arts, in partnership with Little and Loud Productions and The York Theatre Company, presents a dynamic gathering and performance honoring the trailblazing Micki Grant and her groundbreaking Broadway musical, Don’t Bother Me, I Can’t Cope.
