  Ian Shaw & Joseph Nixon’s The Shark is Broken will July 25 – Nov. 19 (opening Aug. 10) at the Golden Theatre, directed by Guy Masterson.

  Ian Shaw (Robert Shaw), Alex Brightman (Richard Dreyfuss), and Colin Donnell (Roy Scheider).

  The play takes audiences behind the scenes as the film’s three stars try to cope with foul weather, a temperamental mechanical shark, and each other’s egos.

Life of Pi will close on Sun. July 23 at Broadway Schoenfeld Theatre, after 23 previews and 133 regular performances.

A truck stop sandwich shop offers its formerly incarcerated kitchen staff a shot at reclaiming their lives. Even as the shop’s tough-as-nails owner tries to keep them under her thumb, the crew is given purpose and permission to dream by their shared quest to create the perfect sandwich.
