  Lincoln Center Theatre presents Antoinette Chinonye Nwanda’s Pass Over, which will begin previews Aug. 4 and open Sept. 12 at the August Wilson Theatre, directed by Danya Taymor.

Inspired by Waiting for Godot and the Exodus story, the play is set on a city street corner. Moses and Kitch stand around – talking shit, passing the time, and hoping that maybe today will be different.   Hartford Stage has announced its inaugural American Voices New Play Festival, featuring three new American plays, to run June 23-26. Each play will receive a 4-day workshop and a public reading.

  Her Math Play, (June 24 at 8 PM ET) by Christina Pumariega, directed by M. Bevin O’Gara. JoAnne loves Math like a person. But it’s the very language her artist daughter Sam fails to speak.

Rachel Bay Jones will recur on the new CBS comedy series “The United States of Al.  Her first appearance will be on the June 3 episode.

The series centers on Riley, a Marine combat veteran, and Al, his unit’s interpreter from Afghanistan, as they restart their lives in Ohio.
