  Wesley, by Scott Steidl and Mark Hantoot, directed by Mary Duncan, featuring Andrianna Ayala (Casey) and Daniel Sanchez (Wesley) with Christa Lisette Beveridge , Tara Dougherty, Ashley Huber, Jack Kehoe, Christopher Kirby Saunders, Nathan Myers, and Maya Pierce, begins previews at Off-Broadway’s Times Square Theatre Center.

 

  Peril in the Alps, world premiere written & directed by Steven Dietz, featuring Gabbie Adner (Woman 2), Valerie Larsen (Captain Hastings), Brian Mackey (Man Two), Omri Schein (Hercule Poirot), Amanda Sitton (Woman One), Christopher M. Lonne Elder III’s Ceremonies in Dark Old Men continues through June 29 at Off-Broadway’s Theatre at St. Clements, directed by Clinton Turner Davis.

   Set in 1950s Harlem, the play focuses on the Parker family’s struggles to survive. The story centers on widower Russell Parker’s barbershop and the family’s lives, including his daughter Adele, who provides income, and his sons Theo and Bobby, who seek alternative paths, ultimately leading to tragic consequences.

The new musical follows Casey as she takes in a wing-damaged newborn owl, she anticipates a few tender days of hospice care.
