  Here Lies Love, byDavid Byrne & Fatboy Slim, directed by Snehal Desai, featuring Arielle Jacobs (Imelda Marcos), Jose Llana (Ferdinadnd Marcos), Conrad Ricamora (Ninoy Aquino), Lea Salonga (Aquino’s Mother), and more, opens at LA’s Mark Taper Forum.

 

  Amadeus, by Peter Shaffer, directed by Darko Tresnjak, featuring Kenajuan Bentley, Jared Andrew Bybee, Jennifer Chang, Matthew Patrick Davis,  Michelle Allie Drever, Alaysha Fox, Matthew Henerson, John Lavelle,Brent Schindele, and Hilary Ward, opens at Pasadena Playhouse.

 

  Ann Kittredge: Love for Sale: My 10 years in Cabaret, directed by Barry Kleinbort, opens NYC’s Don’t Tell Mama.

 

  Bigfoot, by Amber Ruffin & Kevin Sciretta, directed by & choreographed by Danny Mefford, featuring Crystal Lucas Perry, Grey Henson, Katerina McCrimmon, and Alec Moffat, begins previews at New York City Center Stage 1.

 

  The 39 Steps, adapted by Patrick Barlow, directed by Jenny Sullivan, featuring Joseph Fuqua (Richard Hannay), Larry Cedar (clown #1), Christie Coran (Annabella Schmidt / Pamela / Margaret), Jack Herholdt (Clown #2, begins previews at Ventura’s Rubicon Theatre.

   Animus Theatre Company & Circle in the Square will present Twelve Hours with Tracy Letts, a marathon reading festival, on Mon. Feb. 23 from 11 AM – 11 PM at Broadway’s Circle in the Square.

 

The event will benefit the school, the only conservatory located inside a Broadway theatre.

  Long Island’s Bay Street Theatre has announced it’s Summer 2026 Mainstage Season.  Casting TBA.

 

  Mister Halston, a world premiere one-man play by Raffaele Pacitti (June 2-21, opening June 6, directed by TBA.   Set against the glamorous and volatile worlds of 1970s and ’80s New York, the play explores the meteoric rise, stunning fame, and ultimate fall of iconic American fashion designer Halston. In Bay Street’s intimate theater, the production offers a revealing portrait of the man behind the myth, stripping away spectacle to examine the human cost of ambition, artistry, and reinvention.

 

  Cagney (July 3-6), by Robert Creighton, Christopher McGovern, and Peter Colley.  This high-energy production brings James Cagney to the stage through rhythm, song, and movement, celebrating his classic cinematic style. The score blends original songs with beloved tunes by George M. Cohan, paying tribute to Cagney’s vaudeville roots and patriotic flair.

 

  Dear Evan Hanson (Aug. 4 – 29, opening Aug. 8).

 

  Bonkers in the Boroughs, (Sept. 1-6) a world premiere comedy written by Joy Behar,   comprised of five original comedic short plays starring Behar and friends (TBA). Sharp, fearless, and laugh-out-loud funny, the production takes a candid look at relationships and the everyday absurdities of New York life, finding connection through humor performed live and up close.

   Musical Theatre West will present Man of La Mancha Feb. 13 – Mar. 1 (opening Feb. 14) at Long Beach’s Carpenter Performing Arts Center, directed by James Vásquez.

  Robert Icke’s revelatory new adaptation of Oedipus, starring Mark Strong and Lesley Manville, has broken the record for highest weekly gross at Studio 54, taking in $1,212,949 over its final week, which ended Feb. 8. The limited engagement began previews on October 30, 2025, and opened to overwhelming acclaim on November 13.
