The Special Presidential Election Edition of ‘In Philly, Boston, or Baltimo’ will take place on Mon. Oct. 26 at 7 PM ET at Off-Broadway’s  York Theatre Company.

  RIP:  Anthony Chisholm, who earned a Tony nomination for his work in the 2007 production of August Wilson’s Radio Golf, passed away Oct. 16 at the age of 77.

Prior to his theatre career, Chisholm served in the US Army in the Vietnam War. His first credits included The Boys from Syracuse and The Threepenny Opera at Cleveland’s Karamu House Theater.

On Broadway, he appeared in Two Trains Running (1992), Gem of the Ocean (2004), Radio Golf (2007), Jitney (2017), and  He was also in the workshops and Off-Broadway productions of dramas in Wilson’s American Century Cycle (aka the Pittsburgh Cycle), as well.

Mr. Chisholm earned a number of accolades for his work on stage, including the NAACP Theatre Award, the AUDELCO Award, the Ovation Award, and the I.R.N.E. Award.

On screen, Mr. Chisholm appeared in Spike Lee’s “Chi-Raq” and played prisoner Burr Redding in HBO’s “Oz.” Other screen credits included “Wu-Tang: An American Saga” and “Law & Order: SVU.”

Amanda Kloot‘s new memoir, “Live Your Life: My Story of Loving and Losing Nick Cordero” will b be released June 29, 2021.  Link for ordering TBA.

Kloots reflects on love, loss, and life with her husband: of their love and fairy-tale marriage, of the disease that upended it, of the fight for Cordero’s survival, of her grief and how she came to terms with his death, and of keeping the star’s memory alive for their son Elvis and the world. Kloots’ sister Anna helped her write the book.
