The Broadway production of Tracy Letts’ The Minutes has been rescheduled (exact dates TBA, although the opening is aiming for Mar. 15, 2022), directed by Anna D. Shapiro, at a new location (the production is departing the Cort Theatre, where the play had been in previews until Mar. 12, 2020, when Broadway shut down).

RIP: Lynn Kellogg, Broadway’s original Sheila in Hair, died Nov. 12 at the age of 77 in St. Louis after complications from COVID-19. She took over the role from Jill O’Hara, who had left the Off-Broadway production to create a role in George M.
Before Hair, Kellogg appeared on TV in “The Edge of Night” and “The Beverly HIllbillies.” She remained active mostly as a singer on TV through the mid-1970s, appearing on “The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson,” The David Frost Show,” “The Dean Martin Show,” and “The Mark Douglas Show,” among many more.

LA’s Fountain Theatre presents The Gaze…No Homo, playwright Larry Powell’s adaptation into a 12-part media series, to stream Nov. 20, Nov. 27, Dec. 4, and Dec. 11.

Seventeen years after being recorded, Jay Records will release the studio cast recording of Stephen Sondheim & Arthur Laurents’ Anyone Can Whistle on Dec. 4. This is the first “complete” recording of the musical, which includes all songs, dances, overtures, entr’acte, and underscoring, with the National Symphony Orchestra conducted by John Owen Edwards.
