  “The Ensemble Documentary” is now available on Broadway On Demand.

  On the one-year anniversary of the longest shutdown in Broadway history, a multigenerational group of the longest shutdown in Broadway ensemble members come together to dance, reflect on the year that was, and what the world’s largest stage can learn from this Intermission to come back for a stronger and more equitable Act 2.  This behind-the-scenes look features cast members from the biggest hits on Broadway in an up-close and honest way examining their love of performing and how they can be  the change they want to see in the world and in the industry they love.

 Amas Musical Theatre will present private industry readings of Gabe Caruso & Sangwoo ‘Simon’ Lee’s Settle Down on Apr. 11-12 at Ripley Grier Studios, directed by Christopher Scott, with music direction by Andrew Shield.

Mark is 17 years old and a product of the darker side of the American foster care system. As he ages out of the system, he moves in with his best friend Lily and her father, John. Jay Records will release the first complete recording of Broadway’s 42nd Street on Apr. 8, both digitally and on CD, conducted by Craig Barna, with the National Symphony Orchestra.

The recording, featuring a mix of Broadway and West End actors, was made in Oct. 1996 first at London’s Abbey Road Studios, and then at NYC’s Clinton Recording Studios, but this release is it’s first.

. Marti Stevens (Dorothy Brock), Jamie Ross (Julian Marsh), Cathy Wydner (Peggy Sawyer), Michael Gruber (Billy Lawlor), Kim Criswell (Maggie), and Caroline O’Connor (Annie), with a company of actors from the West End and Broadway who appeared in various productions.

 The hit French television series “Call My Agent!” is currently in development as a musical, and is expected to open in late 2024 in London.

Creative team, casting, and additional information TBA.

The piece follows the travails of a group of French talent agents as they advocate for their celebrity clients. As with the TV show, there are plans to have a special guest star in the new musical every week.

The original TV series is currently available on Netflix.
