  Vape! The Grease Parody (a benefit concert for the Entertainment Community Fund), directed by Jack Plotnick, featuring Kerry Butler (Sandy), James Carpinello (Danny), Ann Harada (Jan) Jackie Hoffman (Rizzo) Aisha Jackson (Frenchie) Joel Perez (Kenicki), and Jelani Remy (Sonny), at 7:30 PM at NYC’s Town Hall.

 Red Bull Theater will present Moliere’s The Imaginary Invalid, adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher, to run May 21 – June 29 at New World Stages, directed by Jesse Berger.

Monsieur Argan is a notorious hypochondriac whose nonexistent illnesses blind him to the con men and women (his new wife) who prey on his fears to fatten their purses. His plan: marry his daughter to a doctor so he’ll have free round-the-clock on-site healthcare for the rest of his life.

   Peccadillo Theatre Company will present a revival of Lonne Elder III’s Ceremonies in Dark Old Men, to run Apr. 11 – May 18 (opening Apr. 18) at Theatre at St. Clements, directed by  Clinton Turner Davis.

  Norm Lewis, Jeremiah Packer, Calvin M. Thompson, and Bryce Michael Wood.

  The play, set in 1950s New York, centers on a widowed father, a barber who used to be a vaudeville performer whose life is thrown into turmoil when his daughter’s long-standing resentments come to a head as his two sons’ criminal enterprise unravels.

  The world premiere of Shem Bitterman’s The Civil Twilight will return Apr. 5 – May 11 at the Broadwater Studio Theatre, directed by Ann Hearn Tobolowsky.

  A twisty thriller that takes place over a single night during a once in a century storm, The play tells the story of what happens when a popular a.m. radio personality winds up trapped in a motel room in the Midwest with his biggest fan.

  York Theatre will present Joseph Church & Jeff Bienstock’s Who is Jimmy Pants? Mar. 22-30 at Theatre at St. Jeans, directed & choreographed by Stephen Nachamie, with music direction by Benjamin Weiss.

 Steven Booth, Jim Conroy, Avery Elledge, David Garrison, Aaron Harrington, Mchael Notardonato, Charlotte Belle Odusanya, Kirsten Scott, and John Wascavage.

  A zany, loving satire of bio-jukebox musicals, Who is Jimmy Pants? is both a comical nod to the current epidemic of jukebox shows and an homage to the entertainment value and joy that they bring to audiences. Clever choreography and lively original songs spanning the 60s to the 2000s add to the hilarity. Its Spinal Tap meets The Drowsy Chaperone, with a rocking musical score!

  York Theatre will present Stevie Holland & Gary William Friedman’s Platinum Dreams Mar. 8-16 at Theatre at St. Jeans, directed by Joseph Hayward, with choreographed by Kody Jauron, and music direction by Dave Klodowski.

Stevie Holland (Lila Halliday), Conor Ryan (Dan Hardin), and Jovan E’Sean (Jamie Stiles).

 Set in 1977, with a score encompassing 70’s rock, 40’s big-band, and A Contemporary Theatre sound, Platinum Dreams tells the story of Lila Halliday, a musical movie star of the 1940’s hoping to make a comeback by recording her first-ever solo album, Dan Hardin, a hot rock ‘n’ roll star looking to keep his relevance on the charts, and Jamie Stiles, a record producer/studio owner who is Dan’s former writing partner and former lover. The story is about how destiny brings together three disparate, talented people with their own agendas, and how they ultimately grow to accept each other and go on with their lives and fulfill their dreams.
