 Bad Dates filmed production, by Theresa Rebeck, directed by Peter Flynn, starring Andréa Burns, begins streaming at NJ’s George Street Playhouse.

  Reimagining FREE benefit, with special guests Robert Falls, Liesel Tommy, Willa J. Taylor, Zoraida Sambolin, Loretta Cooney, Jacquelyn Robinson, and Carol Wood, streams at 6 PM CT at Chicago’s Goodman Theatre.

 The U.K. Department for Digital Culture, Media and Sport has announced a new timeline for the re-opening of theaters, which should have theaters operating at full capacity by the end of June. Of course, the reality will be based on the success of the vaccine distributions.

The suggested timeline has indoor arts venues opening at 50% capacity as of May 17, and those opening at 100% capacity is currently set for June. 21.

Continued precautions, such as COVID-19 status certification and enhanced testing may be implemented.

  New York City movie theaters will soon be open again. Venues can reopen starting Mar. 5 at 25% capacity, and a maximum of 50 people per screeen.

Socially distanced assigned seats and masks will be mandatory. Testing will not be required.

  The world premiere of Hershey Felder, PUCCINI will stream Mar. 14- 21 at Beverly Hills’ The Wallis, directed by Stefano D. Caril. The production was filmed on location in Lucca Italy, in the very home where Puccini was born.

  Manhattan Theatre Club has announced the world premiere of the 2018 filmed production of Donja R. Love’s Sugar In Our Wounds on Thurs. Feb. 25 at 12 PM ET, directed by Saheeem Ali.

On a plantation somewhere down south, a mystical tree reaches up toward heaven. Generations of slaves have been hanged on this tree.
