It features a bandaged Vincent Van Gogh hiring Sherlock Holmes to find his missing ear, launching a wild Post-Impressionist conspiracy involving Irene Adler and a mysterious young woman named Marie Chartier. Aug. 26: Quartermaine’s Terms, by Simon Gray. David Hunt Stafford, Nick Trafton, Quinn Ruby DeVries, Michael Mullen, Deanna Ruggieri, John Combs and Todd Andrew Ball. With much humor and an undercurrent of pathos, the play looks at the lives and relationships of seven teachers who gravitate between classes to the faculty common room of their small British school for foreigners. Sept. 2: The Lost Gospel of Pontius Pilate, by Michael Punter, featuring Maxwell Caulfield in a solo performance. The critically-acclaimed star of stage, screen and television portrays Pilate. In this play – part-memoir and part-thriller, he is a man born into violence, surviving Rome’s worst defeat in Germany, then taking that experience to his next appointment: Judea. It seems that he must pass on his pain, until his encounter with a strange carpenter from Galilee who shows him another way.
