  The Donmar Warehouse has announced its 2021-22 season:

  Teenage Dick (July 5-16), by Mike Lew, a revival of the 2019 production, directed by Michael Longhurst, and starring Jack Hunter (Richard III).

  Search Party (Sept. 21-25), written & performed by Inua Ellams, prompted by audience suggestions.

  Love and Other Actos of Violence (Oct. 7-27), by Cordellia Lynn, directed by Elayce Ismail, starring Abigail Weinstock and Richard Katz. The story of a young Jewish physicist and a left-wing poet. As society splinters around them, the couple’s struggle to survive erupts into violence.

 Force Majeure (Dec. 10 – Feb. 5, 2021), by Tim Price, directed by Michael Longhurst, starring Rory Kinnear. Tomas and Ebba are determined to have quality family time with their children, so they head to the Alps on a skiing trip. But when disaster strikes, their family unit is tested to the breaking point with hilarious and tragic consequences.

  Henry V (Feb. 11 – Apr. 9), directed by Max Webster, starring Kit Harington.

   Marys Seacole ( Apr. 15 – June 4), by Jackie Sibblies Drury, directed by Nadia Latif.  The play, across oceans and eras, focuses on the pioneering Jamaican nurse, and what it means to be a woman who is paid to care.

BROADWAY (Hayes Theatre)
  Clyde’s (previews Nov. 3, opens Nov. 22), by Lynn Nottage, directed by Kate Whorisky. A truck stop sandwich shop offers its formerly incarcerated kitchen staff a shot at reclaiming their lives. Even as the shop’s callous owner tries to keep them under her thumb, the staff and members are given purpose and permission to dream by their shared quest to create the perfect sandwich.

  Take Me Out (previews Mar. 9, 2022, opens on Apr. 4), by Richard Greenberg, directed by Scott Ellis.

OFF BROADWAY (Kiser Theatre)
  Letters of Suresh (previews Sept 14, opens Oct. 4), world premiere by Rajiv Joseph, directed by May Adrales. The play reveals intimate mysteries through a series of letter between strangers, friends, daughters, and lovers – many with little in common but a hunger for human connection.

  To My Girls (preview Mar. 22, 2022, opens Apr. 14), by J.C. Lee, directed by Stephen Brackett. Is there anything more fabulous than Palm Springs after the end of the world? For one tight group of gay men, a post-pandemic getaway is the perfect chance to reunite, reclaim their time, and replace the gloom with some gossip. But as soon as the drinks start pouring, truths start spilling, and this chosen family quickly realizes the world has changed. So, here’s to navigating evolving friendships and getting things straight…kind of.
