 The world premiere of Peter Gil-Sheridan’s This Space Between Us will run Feb. 22 – Mar. 9 at the Keen Company, directed by Jonathan Silverstein.

The new comedy is about trying to change the world while admitting home could use a little change, too. Nobody understands why Jamie wants to leave his cushy law office to work for a non-profit. His best friend is confused, his boyfriend is concerned, and his conservative Cuban-American family are sure they know what’s best. As Jamie announces his plans to serve those less fortunate, one shocking afternoon at the racetrack sparks unexpected and irreversible consequences for them all.

&  Vichet Chum’s High School Play: a Nostalgia Fest will run live Jan. 21 – Feb. 13 (and stream Feb. 14-27) at Houston’s Alley Theatre, directed by Tiffany Nichole Green.

The play centers on a competitive theatre troupe at Riverside High School in Carrolton, Texas. Still reeling from last year’s unprecedented loss, Dara is rallying his teammates when a new student and a challenging ne play change everything for the troupe and the community.

 Hamlet (May 15 – June 20), a new streamlined production directed by Elizabeth Swain.

  Everybody (Sept. 11 – Oct. 17), Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’ modern riff on the 15th century morality play Everyman, directed by Jennifer Chang.

  The Changeling (Fall 2022), a free audio play by Jennifer Rowland, directed by Cameron Watson.

. A revival of Chess may be coming to Broadway. Lyricist Tim Rice, in a recent podcast, said “We plan to come back to Broadway one day fairly soon. A team is in place. And above all, I’d love there to be a movie version.”

“The Princess of South Beach,” a new 36-part series scripted podcast, is now available on iHeartRadio. The first 3 episodes premiered last October, with 4 new episodes released every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, through January. The series was written in both English and Spanish, with two different casts.

What is the cultural cost of progress in America — and is cashing in always selling out?

. Conor McPherson’s Girl From the North Country will end its Broadway run at the Belasco Theatre on Jan. 23.

Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of), adapted & directed by Isobel McArthur, will close on Feb. 6 at the Criterion Theatre.

The production is schedule to go on a UK tour beginning in September.

  Laiona Michelle’s Little Girl Blue, the new bio-musical about the life of singer and civil rights activist Nina Simon, is delaying its run at Off-Broadway’s New World Stages, directed by Devanand Janki.
