Holly Stars’ Death Drop continues streaming through Dec. 17 at London’s Garrick Theatre.

  Theatre Royal Stratford East has announced 3 new productions for early 2021, which will be presented live:

* The Sun, The Moon, and The Stars (Feb. 3-20, opening Feb. 5), by Dipo Baruwa-Etti, directed by Nadia Fall. Casting TBA. Femi is visited by her brother’s ghost. He takes her into the past, revealing the final moments before his murder. But with a lack of evidence and eyewitnesses considered unreliable, Femi is determined to set things right herself.

* After The End (Mar. 3-20, opening Mar. 5), by Dennis Kelly, directed by Lyndsey Turner. Casting TBA. A city under attack from a nuclear blast. As the dust settles, Louise wakes to find herself in a fallout shelter with Mark, the colleague who has saved her life. They have enough water and food to last two weeks. Now they just need to find a way of surviving each other.

* Extinct (Apr. 21 – May 8), by April De Angelis. Director and casting TBA. What drives a person to rebel? What is the journey a citizen has to take before they decide to disobey the laws of their own country? From psychiatrists to vicars, classroom assistants to actors – What is their story?

   Due to the pandemic, the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle has decided to combine 2020 and 2021 into one award consideration period.

“The group will make any further determinations based on what the theater world looks like in 2021.

“The LADCC will also be honoring online/streaming productions taking place during this pandemic. Awards aside, we want to take this opportunity to thank the artists whose online work has kept the hope and spirit of L.A. theater alive in this trying time.

“We are inspired by the resilience of our local theater companies and artists as they continue to find ways to keep on creating, and we look forward to seeing our artistic community together again in the near future.”
