Sporting a bop-infused score, scene-stealing cameos by characters like “Rose Landry” and “Ilya’s Ass”, and time jumps absolutely no one can keep track of, audiences will find themselves hot, bothered, and probably saying, “….Girl!”

Fantasma (Nov. 7 – Dec. 20), world premiere by Benjamin Benne, directed by Laurie Woolery. The play follows three generations of women gathering on Christmas Eve in a newly renovated kitchen to make chuchitos, a traditional Guatemalan recipe. As they attempt to document the dish step-by-step in a recipe, they discover that what’s being preserved isn’t just food.
Asif Mandvi: A Work in Progress, (Jan. 9 – Feb. 6, 2027) written by & starring Aasif Mandvi, directed by Kimberly Senior. The solo play traces the journey of the immigrant boy who crossed an ocean to chase the American dream, mastered every room he was never supposed to be in, and perfected the art of making the right people comfortable, only to realize that all along, the joke was on him.
Baby Shower Katie, (Feb. 2 – Apr. 11) world premiere written & directed by Jaki Bradley, at 59E59 Theaters. The solo soplay traces the journey of the immigrant boy who crossed an ocean to chase the American dream, mastered every room he was never supposed to be in, and perfected the art of making the right people comfortable, only to realize that all along, the joke was on him.
