  J.T. Rogers’ Corruption will begin previews Feb. 15, 2024 and open Mar. 11 at Lincoln Center’s Mitzi E. Newhouse, directed by  Bartlett Sherr.

  Based on Tom Watson & Martin Hickman’s book “Dial M for Murdoch: New Corporations and The Corruption of Britain,” the play tells the true story of Parliament member Tom Watson fighting back against Murdoch’s News International after a smear campaign. In the process, he uncovers the criminal practices of the media giant.

  Manhattan Theatre Club has extended its production of Qui Nguyen’s Poor Yella Rednecks through Dec. 3 at Off-Broadway’s New York City Center, directed by May Adrales.

  Told from the mother’s perspective, this is the story of a young family’s attempt to put down roots in Arkansas, a place as different from Vietnam as it gets.

  Rogue Artists Ensemble will present a reading of Ramona Pilar, Meghan Brown & Zach Lupetin’s Cowboy Elektra on Sat. Nov. 18 at  3 PM at LA’s Julian Dixon Library (4975 Overland Ave. in Culver City), directed by Sean Cawelti.

 Ariella Amar, Amir Levi, Mari King, Amy Judd Lieberman, Therese Olson, Sarah Kay Peters, Darryl Reed, and Sabina Varela.

  An original highly theatrical play-with-music that reimagines Greek tragedy through an early Californian lens, exploring revenge, cycles of trauma, and women’s experience in the “old west.” Set against the backdrop of late 1800s California when the railroad was on the verge of reaching the west, the piece brings the Elektra story into the Palace Saloon as Nessie, Elektra, and their Herdies grapple with the changing landscape of Los Angeles. Elektra must confront her rage toward her mother, whom she blames for her father’s death, and her desire to find her own freedom beyond the walls of the saloon. **********************

  Joshua Henry: Get Up Stand Up will take place Sat. Nov. 18 at 7:30 PM at NYC’s 92NY.

  A brilliant survey of the soul, R&B, and funk that fuels Joashua’s artistry.

  Hansol Jung’s Merry Me continues through Nov. 19 at New York Theatre Workshop, directed by Leigh Silverman.

 On an island not far away from the vulnerable coasts of the enemy state, a mysterious blackout has left the Navy restless and itching for action. Meanwhile a famed Angel re-descends to amend her previous prophesy, sending the Navy’s psychiatrist on an epic quest to save humanity. Will the general discover the affair? Will the earth be saved? Will they ever be merry enough?

  Rufus Wainwright & Ivo Van Hove’s Opening Night will run Mar. 6 – July 27, 2024 at the Gielgud Theatre, directed by Wainwright, with choreography by Polly Bennett, and music direction by Nigel Lilley
