  The Altruist, world premiere by Bill Fitzhugh, directed by Bruce Kimmel, featuring Tori Austin, Joe Clabby, Julie Davis, Lindsey GarciaFreiberg, Lee Grober,   Angie Lin, Constance Mellors, Lloyd Pedersen, Isabella Sawoski, Larry Toffler, and Htet Waiyan, opens at North Hollywood’s Group Rep.

 

  Guess How Much I Love You?, world premiere by Luke Norris, directed by Jeremy Herrin, featuring Robert Aramayo , Rosie Sheehy (Machinal) and Lena Kaur, begins previews at London’s Royal Court Theatre.

 

Saturday, Jan. 17

 

  Kid Gloves, world premiere by Matthew Leavitt & Nathan Wang, directed by Richard Israel, featuring Will Collyer (Caleb), Heather Marsden (Meredith, Adam J. Smith (Eddie), Natalie Lander (Darla), Joey Richter (Jackson), Lauren Lorati (Vidki), Harry S. Murphy (Professor Penguinpants), Jonathan Slavin (Edmund the Elephant), Suzy Nakamura (Penelope/Bonita the Bunny), and Christopher Kerrigan (Juaquin), opens at LA’s Skylight Theatre (link not working).

 

  A sleighful of Songs concert, directed by Victoria Lavan, featuring Victoria Lavan, John A.    30 Minutes or Less Festival will run Jan. 15-25 at LA’s Stephanie Feury Studio Theatre (5636 Melrose Ave.).

 

  This year’s festival features dozens of original works — each 30 minutes or less — spanning drama, comedy, solo performance, puppetry, experimental theater, and hybrid forms.

Ann Kittredge: Love for Sale: My 10 years in Cabaret will run Feb. 11 &  14 at 7 PM … and Feb. 14 at 4 PM at NYC’s Don’t Tell Mama, directed by Barry Kleinbort, with music direction by Christopher Denny.

  Radio Alanis will take place Sat. Feb. 11 at 8 PM at Long Iland’s Bay Street Theatre.

  The tribute band that captures the energy of the iconic ’90s alternative rock star, recreating her raw, emotional performances and distinctive voice.
