  Cymbeline,  NAATCO‘s modern-verse translation of Shakespear’s play, by Andrea Thome, directed by Stephen Brown-Fried, featuring Amy Hill (Cymbeline), Purva Bedi, Annie Fang, Anna Ishida, Narea Kang, Jennifer Lim, KK Moggie, Maria-Christina Oliveras,  Julyana Soelistyo, Sarah Suzuki, and Jeena Yi, opens at Off-Broadway’s Lynn F. Angelson Theatre.

  Operation Mincemeat, by Spitlip, Mr. Cumming, Felix Hagan, Ms. Hodgson & Ms. Roberts, directed by Robert Hastie, featuring David Cumming, Claire-Marie Hall, Natasha Hodgson, Jak Malone, and Zoë Roberts, begin previews at Broadway’s Golden Theatre.

  The Voice of Whitney: A Symphonic Celebration concert, featuring Pops of Color (who will be making their world premiere) at 8 PM NYC”s Town Hall.

Sunday, February 16

  All In: Comedy About Love, by Simon Rich, directed by Alex Timbers, featuring Annaleigh Ashford, Tim Meadows, and David Cross, Hank Azaria, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, closes at Broadway’s Hudson Theatre.

  Mint Theater‘s Garside’s Career, by Harold Brighouse, directed by Matt Dickson, featuring Matt Dickson, Erik Cratton, Sara Haider, Daniel Marconi, Melissa Maxwell, Melissa Maxwell, Paul Niebanch, Michael Schantz, Madeline Seidman, Amelia White, and Avery Whitted, closes  at Off-Broadway’s Theatre Row.

   The world premiere of Larissa FastHorse’s Fake It Until You Make It continues through Mar. 9 at the Mark Taper Forum, directed byMichael John Garcés

   I’m Not A Comedian…I’m Lenny Bruce will take place Fri. Mar. 28 at 8 PM at CA’s La Mirada Theatre, directed by Joe Mantegna.

  The play chronicles the life and death of the most controversial comedian and undisputed legend of all time…Lenny Bruce.  His personal pain, sharply funny social commentary and completely original, freestyle comedy left a lasting impact on today’s poetry, politics, music, film – and of course – comedy.  His unwavering commitment to, and passion for, free speech led to numerous obscenity charges and arrests.  Bruce fought for freedom of speech all the way to the Supreme Court and died of an accidental overdose in 1966 while out on appeal. Lauded by fans and former friends of Bruce, Marmo’s crowd-shocking portrayal brings the notorious funnyman to life with all the electrifying, insightful and comedic brilliance as the one and only Lenny Bruce himself.
