Angelica Gorga’s Lost and Found will run Sept 25 – Oct. 12 (opening Sept. 30) at the AMT Theatre, directed by Christine Cirker.

The play takes place in a laundromat in Brooklyn, New York on August 14th, 2003 during one of the largest blackouts in US history. With no electricity coming back anytime soon, two strangers stick together during a time of darkness and uncertainty. They pass time drinking, playing games, and folding laundry which ultimately leads them to form a connection and reveal their own secrets and pasts, discovering they have more in common than they think. This play shows us what grief can do in the aftermath of loss and the powerful connections we create when showing up for one another.

A poignant comedy about three strangers and their dogs meeting for the first time at a dog park. The flamboyant show poodle, pampered Yorkie, and scrappy rescue have plenty to say about their clueless owners’ backs and often make more sense than they do. As the humans fumble through personal crises and unexpected connections, their four-legged sidekicks watch—and comment—on it all.

Based on a true story, Lady Patriot reveals an intimate look into the prejudices and patriotism of three ladies who lived during the Civil War: Varina Davis, Elizabeth Van Lew, and Mary Bowser. Lady Patriot combines Langes signature comedy and drama as it peels away traditional stereotypes prevalent in the South during the Confederacy.
